Good luck to him, but I don't really care what he's doing for another team, all I care about is what he didn't do for us.

Well it's about time he started producing some results. Four years on an AFL list you would expect him to get a kick in the QAFL.

Next thing we will hear about Wallaces little league club notching 4 straight wins;)

wow...but if we really want to pursue someone there is another GUN that we should really take a look at in Brett Voss who is carving it up for Old Hayliebury in the VAFA div 2. Hell, lets just scour cow paddocks in the outer burbs if we want to entertain any semblance of any minute thoughts of the Steamer's return. ;)

Get him in the Richmond store, he's doing a fine job as the sales rep for 2XU

At the risk of re-opening old wounds, Cleve has began to dominate the QAFL for Southport Sharks who sit unbeaten at top of ladder. Seems he's staking a claim to get picked up by GC17. Has booted 9, 6 and 5 past 3 matches. 31 goals for season from 7 games.
Like Sarge, Jurica, Honeybun etc, we need to move on.

I think some of guys are being a bit harsh on cleve saying he was absolutely useless like skill wasnt the issue it was form, confidence, depression and wallace all these factor are why he failed sure there are others things that contributed but these are main reasons. So give the guy some slack.

I agree with this, glad to see him doing well. Has added another 11 goals in the past fortnight. Will play FF for QLD v Tassie this weekend. But have no regrets. Astbury looks like an upgrade to me. Much better below his knees when ball hits the turf

Do you have a medical report that says he has depression? if not then stop using this as a reason to his form. He was purely a dud and without a medical report from you saying this then i stick to him being a hack
No but its what ive have heard, look i dont no if he did have depression but i you think it would hard coping with seeing one of your better mates get him by a tram.

I wouldnt bet on it...with Griff, Astbury and Westhoff all showing form I reckon our precious picks will be invested elsewhere
Im not saying we should get him, but we have a bloke whos job it is to look at these players, and Cleaver wouldnt be the first to be re-drafted. At the end of the day we dont know how the Tiges rated him, why they delisted him, and what they could be looking from at him at the moment. Dimma did say he wanted to keep one and we still dont know who that player was. Plus, Westhoff hasnt shown a thing apart fom a bit of Burger promise, so i wouldnt be counting on him holding up any potential trade/draftee

I hope we are keeping an eye on both these boys (espsec Putty) if the events of this year have'nt shown the importence of development of players in state football leagues nothing would.

You have inside knowledge or have been talking to Hartley?
Neither. Why would we waste a spot on our list on someone who had ample opportunity to prove himself. He is now dominating a league not close to the standard of VFL (which he struggled in) and people think we will be interested.

Plenty of footballers doing similar things around the country, why not try someone who wants to succeed at the top level?

It's hilarious.
