If the Oline is as bad as last week and the WRs drop passes like last week what makes you think Gabriel is going to be any better than Flacco ?
Flacco is for the flue factory. Gabriel is young and vibrant, he gets the ball out quickly and is adept at rifling tue ball around. I have faith you will see a marked difference

Hopefully the O line will be better now with an improvement at LT. The receiver group…well that’s still an issue. And is even worse off without Tillman.

But it’s the mobility of Gabriel that should be the biggest plus - especially if the line is poor. Extend plays, run the play action better. Open up more running lanes for Judkins.

Arm talent wise, Flacco was fine and I don’t think there’ll be any marked difference. But hopefully the offense as a whole will be more cohesive.

First time it seems there’s been genuine talk of a coaching change.

I’m not convinced there’s anyone better out there than Stefanski this year. And if we move on, I think he immediately gets another job and is successful. But I’d make the move, just think it’s time for both parties.

I more wonder what it means for Schwartz, who has done a good job and has built our D for his scheme. And for Rees who seems highly regarded. Don’t think a promotion for either could be ruled out.

At the start of the year there was talk that Berry and Stefanski were to be given a fresh start to rebuild the team after the Watson debacle.

Not to be unfortunately, always thought Stefanski never had the right tools to do the job the way he wanted.

Now who is it to be ?

I think the plan going into the year was definitely to keep Stefanski for 2026. But by the end, it looked like a new voice was needed and I think his offense grew stale. A fresh start will do both sides well.

My guess is they’d like to bring in a Saleh or Flores type. The opposite of Stefanski. But it doesn’t look like there’s the same coaching talent as last year, so my money is on Schwartz.

But it could be worse, at least we’re not running Zac Taylor back again.
