I attended the Skins-Browns game last weekend. The rookie QB actually did a good job (of course, my Skins frequently make rookie QBs look like future hall of famers). The Browns inexplicably stopped running against the Skins and that cost them the game. Had they stuck with the ground game, they likely win. And that's what they need to do going forward.

No worries, all part of the plan to field a 6-10 team in 2022.

#keep trading down
#stockpiling 35 third and fourth round picks
#lawyer, baseball numbers guy and pro personnel guy who never scouted a college player in his life until the first 2 morons hired him this year, running the FO

Kessler has looked okay it seems (before the Browns QB injury curse struck). Might have been a good pick.
If you look deeper into the numbers (and the idiots in the FO are all about sabermetrics) he rarely if ever threw the ball further than 10 yards downfield.

Popgun arm..no more, no less

Not even remotely close to best qb in his round (see, Dallas)

Oh that kid was available but they passed on him

FO clowns get NO free pass from me

True, but wonder how Prescott would be going in your team atm. Wentz was the mistake, no doubt. but at least Kessler ain't JFF!

He would be hurt--want to know why?

These imbeciles decided that it's no big deal to lose a pro bowl center and a quality right tackle to free agency. Just plug in any two guys and it won't matter--just like plugging in a couple middle infielders in baseball.

Oh wait--football is very very different than baseball?!?

Who would EVER have known?

I am pissed beyond belief, so you will have to excuse me.

1-15 in last 16 games, 3 wins since October 2014, and careening towards 0-16 this year will do that to a guy.

The apologists defending these garbage FO personnel just make it worse.

In your opinion have you seen any positives so far?
Pryor has been a surprise. He is a serviceable wide receiver. He would be a good #2 or an awesome #3 on a quality team

Kessler looks to be a serviceable back up.

Shelton has played better. He is a slightly above avg defensive lineman now---still underperforming his draft spot overall though.

That really is about it...linebackers are below average....not one draft pick is an impact player.

It's a 0-6 team that looks every bit an 0-6 team.

This team is two years away from winning 6 games let alone 8 or 9. The FO managed to make a poor team terrible and based on what I have seen from the picks, they aren't exactly unearthing special talent.

bout sums it up! cant really rate Coleman or Nassib at the moment though! Ogbah has been pretty average!

letting O-line players walk seems like their biggest mistake!

Leaving out the O-line part, you hit the nail on the head. My BIGGEST issue and why these guys are in way over their heads is their utter inability to understand that you do NOT need a 5 year plan (and anyhow as I pointed out in this thread countless times before it is impossible in today's NFL to have a 5 year plan).

Their refusal to identify key players and instead just lay waste to the roster will ultimately be their undoing. Good coaches and good front offices come in and take the good pieces left and make them better whilst at the same time filling in the weak areas.

Instead, this FO made a poor team, terrible. They also sold the 5 year plan bill of goods to fans that will eat up whatever crap the organization spews.

Really is a miserable state of affairs....thankfully to be forgotten by the Indians play and the Cavs starting up again.

Unwatchable crappola....but yes, these guys know what they are doing as evidenced by the stellar play of all their top selections from 2016

Anyone that thinks this FO has a clue is :drunk:

Our side is super young. Youre going to have plenty of down times in a game where there is little to no experience on the field.

And im perfectly fine with them letting the likes of Schwartz and Mack go. It's not like we were getting stellar protection last year for our QBs and backs.

The run game has been super so far this yeat so thats a massive positive. We are so far behind in games we have to abandonen it and throw the football. Kessler is a dunk and dink sort of QB but he has guts and is VERY accurate. If he can develop an arm then he could be anything. Pryor is an animal and will get WR1 money and so he should.

It sucks losing but im getting a kick out of seeing some of these guys develop. And you can tell they love playing for Hue as they fight every game out.

Anyone expecting wins as a barometer this season clearly doesn't have their head screwed on properly.

very bad game monday! whats peoples opinions of the biggest need come next years draft? defence,O-line or QB?

id say QB is the least of the worries at the moment! i wouldnt mind first 4 picks being used on the D! Myles Garrett a couple CB's and Safety

use free agency to sure up the Oline and maybe another handy WR since Gordon is done! even though he hasnt been cut!

Dont think we can get a proper gauge on any QB that comes into our system until we get an OL.

But no doubt we take Deshaun Watson #1 in the draft. We'll then have the Philly pick and an early 2nd rounder to maybe add a quality pass rush in.

Offensive line needs a tonne of work and that's probably our biggest need atm.
