According to Taylor, you may be walking down Kangaroos in Perth or Hobart. Not enough to go around so only smart people can do that and survive, long enough to be also capable of constructing a Nuclear Power plant pronto in Joondaloop!

Very clever person we have here!
The messiah!?
LOL!

Humanity will survive. You might not. Start getting comfortable with that.

The strong and the smart will find a way while the rest hold their hand out and demand equality.

"Humanity will survive."

Survive what? I have projected future possible serious problems but you seem to have the attitude : " She'll be right mate" (as long as you are OK! fcuk the rest)?

I guess you mean "humanity" 1 . Collective human species ? Agreed most likely!
But likely not "humanity " 2. Humane benevolence

"You might not. Start getting comfortable with that".

I am comfortable about that. Thanks for your faux concern!.

"The strong and the smart will find a way while the rest hold their hand out and demand equality."

Let us hope together you are as strong and smart as you fantasise!.
You wouldn't want to ever hold out your hand to anyone would you, especially those not as "equal" as you?

Wow! it has been an interesting pleasure having a short discussion with someone of your superb capabilities.
(as noted in your signature)
Maybe you ought front up to the UN and advise how you have got it all under control? Good luck!

Survive what?
If the environment were changed so much from existing, humans will still survive.

I actually think that encapsulated vertical farming will be the way that happens. Currently we have huge wide open spaces used for farming, but if we could build a tower that has sealed floors with soil, artificial sunlight and water distribution systems we would have one 10km2 farm stacked ten or twenty high in conditions that are controlled and pest free.

The soil is right, the drainage is right, the water isn't leaving the system. The exact water and light you want for your crop.

Just a big building that looks like a giant solar panel armoured block. Occasionally a chute opens and the product is dumped into a train carriage.

You could even suspend your harvesting machinery from the ceiling and have it nearly entirely automated.

Not to mention if you have seasonal crops, it would growing and harvesting whenever you wanted to set those conditions on that floor. With 24 floors you could have a shipment leaving the building every two weeks.

Maybe we could just 'invent' Soylent green. ;)

Eating people should be restricted to foreplay.

I wonder how much land we could reclaim if all farm land currently was shuffled into towers all over the planet where the farming could be done on a much smaller footprint.

Maybe we should just maximise the use of renewable energy sources.

I saw a doco on some demographer who said world population will reach a maximum of 11 billion.

I just hope we last that long & we can live in a sustainable way, for all our sakes.

I don't see that one person's opinion on whether someone else's life is pointless (or billions of them) is a reason to reduce the number of humans.

Don't the other 5 billion odd species that you want to save the planet for lead even more pointless lives?

If they get out of control and start stuffing up the environment, WE CULL THEM!

One of the highest energy densities we have access to is.... Uranium.

And Australia has something like 40% of the world's supply, but also a ban on mining it, at least in WA.

If I were Empress of the World I'd require all possible power plants to be replaced with nuclear power plants and have Australia supply a lot of enriched uranium for the process. Australia gets an economic boom and the planet gets some breathing space years without burning fossil fuels.

The population growth of the planet will primarily come from places like China, India, the African nations.

Check out what happens when a nation gets developed enough that it's women need to be educated and put to work. Baby making falls off a cliff.

That will happen there too.
Um it's not coming from China. There population will soon start declining.

The reason

World population:
1960 - 3 billion
2000 - 6 billion
2019 - 7.7 billion
forecast
2037 - 9 billion
2057 - 10 billion

https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/

Current agricultural practices- maximum population Earth can sustain is 10 billion

Lets optimistically say by then 12 billion?

Pumping ever more pollution and trash on the planet ...

Even if "Climate Change" is BS! or caused by other multiple other factors , the pollution will further deplete fish stocks and everyone will have smarter ******* phones but choke and many will starve to death.

(I am thinking of growing a ponytail and becoming hysterical )
How come you left the 2100 forecast off? Oh is it because it involves a fall. Kind of ruins your point doesnt it.

The numbers look more to me like they bottomed out at about 0.5% growth nearly a decade ago but even 0.5% growth is still between a quarter and a third of Australia.

Unless Australia has a policy where literally every single woman gets pregnant this year we won't match that.

You can walk down a rabbit and a kangaroo, definitely a snake and lizards.

Humans are the nightmare creature. If you were a rabbit or a roo you can get up to speed quickly, burst away and then recover - phew, you're safe. But you look over your shoulder and that human is still coming. We can walk 30km in a day. Your prey will sprint off, you'll catch up, it'll sprint off again and then it's done. They aren't endurance machines like humans are.

I could make a video of this, there's a mob of kangaroo near Lake Joondalup I could walk over to, put an arrow in one and then walk from there to near Edgewater (neighboring suburb) and catch it - but there is no way that won't be seen as cruelty to animals for the sake of a youtube video.

Humans are predators, our eyes face forward and we can move at walking pace all day. Prey creatures like rabbits or kangaroos are burst animals. Endurance always catches burst eventually and that's why point.

Humans will develop technology and methods to survive however the world presents the challenge.

The only people going extinct in the even of catastrophic climate change are vegans.

That's all well and good about the roos.

Track it.

Whilst you're learning you'll starve.

So? Why are you comparing China to australia?

Because I said population growth will come from China and others. You said they were slowing. I compared that lower rate to Australia to show that because of their huge base even a small percentage means a lot more people.

But australia is like an ant. Why would you even mention australia on a global population discussion. No one thinks of australia. Compare China to USA or Europe or Africa.

Why the f*** do you care more about the environment then human lives. You've turned into a bat sh*t crazy lefty.

All I am doing is addressing a problem at the source, you lepton!
