Humans are like a piece of dandruff in the whole scheme of things, it's all about that big yellow ball in the sky that controls everything. About 1.3 million Earths could fit inside the sun, then there is us! We are too insignificant. Human beings have made great achievements as a species, considering we really have only occupied the planet for a short time and we're not going to last forever, I don't understand why we continue to make things more difficult for ourselves. Nature will swallow us all up and spit us all out eventually.

India’s view is that it has not been responsible for past greenhouse gas emissions and must be allowed to use fossil fuels to assist its industrial transformation and bring hundreds of millions of people out of poverty. India will invest heavily in renewable energy but still has a long way to go with coal. Indian demand for coal is forecast to grow by 7 per cent across its power stations by 2025.'

Can only assume it’s some kinda dig at me.

It means that living in our society has to involve perpetuating negative things sometimes, but that doesn't contradict the desire of people to reduce those negative things going forward. It also doesn't make people smart or insightful to point out that both those things are happening.

Super in particular is a hard thing for people to navigate as funds are invested in a whole range of things that their average client often doesn't realise they're invested in. Claiming it as some sort of "gotcha" against Bandt isn't insightful in any way.

But it's the world as a whole that's going to end, isn't it? Those that aren't taking part or are delaying until some dubious time in the future are going to be responsible for the calamity that is due any day now. Poverty will be the least of their worries.

By the way, record-breaking harvests have been achieved in the last three years, due to the excellent rain and warmth provided by La Nina. Prepare for the cycle to return to El Nino for a few years and heightened warnings of doom.
