Well, are people fair dinkum about them changing their ways for the climate?
Its only privileged people who care about it. Cant imagine congo, sudan, siberia etc care too much. People in the west have it far too ******* easy and invent issues to make themselves feel like heroes. One of the great cons which will last forever. The only question is whats after climate because woke white people without any problems will need something to champion

No it isnt, not at all. Who said anything about gangs lol

Deflect, deflect, deflect. What a pissweak argument

You're just looking for any excuse to be lazy. You don't care about those people, you don't know what they think.

You are using them as props for your IPA puppet show.

That’s like arguing because I’m not at risk of malaria or some infectious disease I needn’t bother checking my blood pressure. And your point about “heroes” is even sillier- there may be a small minority of people who use is as some sort of political fashion statement, but the vast majority simply have some level of concern of what we’re doing to the planet.

No its not. Nothing alike

Its not a small minority who use it as a fashion statement. Its shitloads. Shitloads with no personality or hobby and they hang their hats on this.

The vast majority of people who have no bigger issues*. Fixed bolded and even then most are indifferent. Most dgaf what powers us, just make it reliable and cheap. Fact is renewables aren't there yet so dont force it. SA is the greenest state with the highest prices. How lucky

No that’s just you speaking on behalf of a huge amount of people you don’t even know. Which is a really stupid thing to do.

Sounds like you have a very insular friendship group.

The overwhelming majority of people who are concerned about climate change aren’t gluing themselves to the pavement or chaining themselves to trees. But they are voting. If one side is seen as doing enough they’ll be punished. If the other goes too far so will they. Morons will continue to occupy the margins.

Your characterisations are ridiculous.

Tuvalu is a privileged place ? Marshall Islands ? Or the parts of Africa getting smashed by Climate Change?

But it's not a stretch for most people to understand why countries with high GDPs (or the privileged) can do more to address an issue.

I hope once white woke people have helped battle climate change they can turn their hand to making sure Australians like you don't fall through the cracks.

It's a bit late to stop these boomers falling through the cracks. But their numbers will start dwindling soon.

Our falling standards of education (that's not a call to go back to the good old days) has a lot to answer too, it's given Boomers like that an audience that don't know better

Fun fact: Tuvalu is actually growing.
