The dole is to support people through tough times. If there is no work in an area, then people need to move on the places of employment to receive welfare.

this article claims a 10% drop but remember the first 10% drop in revenue is straight into profit meaning the actual pain is probably 20-30% of profit depending on margins




I feel we'll have to wait three years to make a firm view on impact to avoid seasonal and or one off impacts

However as highlighted above, the dole is to help people when out of work. If there is no work in a region, then the doll should be cut if they don't move, especially if the community is sabotaging local industry. but as above, we'll need to wait and see.
