Yesterday watching the game on channel 10 at half time they have the ask Daics segment when members of the crowd ask Daicos questions.

A tigers supporter by the name of Reg said that Frawley needed to get rid of the outside players such as Clinton King and he had a real go at him.

I couldn't believe it as i reckon King is one of our players who will put his head over the ball and get it out for his teamates.

i agree ketch.kings isnt the problem altho his kicking skills arnt the best for a bloke with a frame like a match stick he puts the bowdens and campbells to shame.

What's the bet that this Reg bloke is the same type that was having a go at Richo against the Bombers - types of people who like to dress up in the Tiger gear and like to be loud and abusive but who have no real idea about what is actually going on out on the field.

King an outside player... pffft! for so long, he was the only inside player we had.

I would suggest - and no doubt diggler would agree with me - that we sorely need Duncan back. I would happily trade in those dodgy kicking skills for the steely spine he provides us with!

king does have a dip and is a hard ball player, but sadly will never be a top line midfield because of his physique.
Dont start the bring back Dunc crap in the midfield. I respect him for his courage, but we will always be mediocre if he plays midfield. Whats the point of helicpter kicks that go only 20 metres.

I agree with you're assesment on both players diggler as for dunc ,he will probably end he's days as a tagger.

From todays Herald Sun:

Coburg Tigers caused the upset of the round yesterday, toppling Box Hill from top spot on the ladder with a 13 point victory at Coburg.

Inspirational Richmond midfielder Duncan Kellaway made his long awaited return from thigh and knee injuries, playing in typically gung-ho fashion for a hald and throwing his name up as a possible selection poser.

Kayne Pettifer, best on ground with 21 possession and four goals, should play seniors next week, with Matthew Rogers also serviceable.

Coach Alan Richardson, ecstatic after the victory, said Kellaway was some chance to slot straight back into Richmond's midfield.

"Danny and the boys might see fit to throw him straight in. From what I saw, he's probably right to go," he said.

There is no way that Dunc can be played on McLeod he is way way to quick for him really I don't know who we've got to contain Mcleod. Possibly one of the younger players could be given a crack but then remember what happened when Hall played on Hird in round 2.

King is a pretty good player i recken and is also yong 21 22?? so he has time to inprove also don't you's think he should put some more wright on? no offence but he looks a little skinny.
