My point is, there is no point in asking any of us. We know as much as you mate. These things take time, it doesn't mean it won't happen.

For all we know, Young might be trying to decide if the Pies are the right option, or the Pies might be holding off because we have other things on the go and want to announce it when they are ready.

Our cap is forcing Young out as he would have to take a big pay cut to stay with us. We need to free up cap space for Buddys new contract, Lake coming in and for other trades we may want to pursue. He loves the club but it's unfair on him to take such a cut so if you guys land him, you will be very happy. I see him as a type of player you don't have. Very long kick, mostly a good kick too, can sometimes shank it but every player can shank a footy. He breaks the lines, is quick but not super quick. He use to be very soft as a youngster, he has addressed this and can go in hard, unfortunately in the grand final he had a very bad moment of falling over while Jack walked into goal and pretty much got them over the line due to that play. However, many things we did bad that day resulted in the loss. I will miss him if he leaves, he is a good player that some hawks fans don't seem to realise his value.
