tbh if we missed out on Young, i would look at Rodan. Not saying he is best 22, but could add to depth and would not cost us anything.
There are some handy players that have been delisted/going to like; Surjan, Russell, Bower,Rodan etc.

Also i don't see why we don't look to the state leagues for more depth, we should be fine next season, but boy last season we really struggled to cover injuries.

I think if Young leaves Hawthorn he will come to Collingwood I don,t see him leaving to go interstate the Bombers maybe but more likely the Pies and I think Seedsman is the long term replacement for Wellingham,not as good in the air but will have him covered in all other areas.Seedsman has the class and the poise to play 200+ games just needs more bulk and then he will be ready to go.

What I have Read that is what I am taking too. Early in the Week he wanted to Leave for Who I don't know. But seemed longer the week went more he looked to stay.

I am almost sold he will stay a Hawk:(

Why would he even bother talking to Port if he was staying with hawthorn TD?

football nation site says today that he is staying at the hawks. i hope those posting here recently with "good sources" that he was definitely signing with us just got bad info and were not intentionally being mischievous.

I doubt we are going to use our 2nd rounder anyway so if we don't get Young we will get Dylan Robertson with it.. prefer Young for nothing though
 
Football Nation is the same source that said Hawks want our second rounder for Young, lol. They are the most clueless muppets out. FWIW, I think he will stay at the Hawks but not because of that article.
