Not so sure about "unlucky"... he can curse his poor luck, perhaps. But in the end, the right ruling was made.

But hey, he's a young player, only 20, and if Collingwood maintain good seasons like these, he'll have another chance to play in a Grand Final in another year to come.

Very sad for Jason, as a player & club, how would you feel ?.

Grand Finals for individual players don't come around every year.

Instead of multiple threads on this topic, could somebody please delete theirs.

I'm sure Collingwood will now wear black armbands as a result of this tragedy. This is so upsetting and emotionaly wrecking that Mrs Cloke has to set up a condolence book and is now taking Valium to ease her stress in this terrible dark time for her family.

It's only a bloody footy game. No need to get so worked up about it. Take your medicine like a man, Clokey, just like Jason Mcartney did in 1999.
All class, not a shed of a tear, just rapt for his teammates.

Only a bloody footy game? For the Collingwood Football Club it is more then that, for Jason Cloke it's more then that, it's the kids first season, he has had a great season, his dream becomes a reality then a silly mistake costs him the oppurtunity. Put yourself in his shoes, how would you feel? The Pies fans get so worked up over it because our club plays with a certain passion your club lacked in 2002.

I dispute that .... grand finals come around for 44 individual players every year.
