Alot will hinge on the game of this young man if we are to win on Sunday! If he can play as he has been and kick straight we should win! Fraser may also play a pivotal role up forward. We have historically really struggled to cover rocca's absence!

Played an absolute blinder against the Hawks last year, hopefully he can repeat this Sunday because we'll need it!

Yep, good point, we have recently struggled without, Rocca, Buckley, Clement, Presty........? Is this the same team that had about as much depth as a kids wading pool? The way they will look at this is to say 'whateva'! Who is to say what he can do without Rocca in the way?:thumbsu:

He will come good, give him 2 years and he'll be our leading goal kicker. Until then if he doesn't get the jitters early against the Hawks ill back him for half a bag.

With Rocca out, We should play Fraser at CHF with Cloke at FF. Davis, Didak and Thomas feeding off both.

One day, just one day, Cloke will kick more goals than behinds.

Who cares that he can't kick...I am just so happy he has worked on the major negative he showed prior to this season

1) His marking...he dropped so many in his first two seasons...now he is just gobbling them up Pavlich/Hall/Riewoldt style up the ground.

2) His ability to cause a contest...he would generally not make a contest, and wait, or be in simple terms 'soft'...now his got his name on a Sherrin and goes for it, and generally wins. He also isn't afraid to lay a tackle...that tackle on Jolly was awesome.

I agree. Loving his marking this year. One other thing i feel he has improved on is his forward pressure. He has got quite a number of intercepts from hard running to a recieving opposition player. It is inspirational stuff from such a big man.

agreed
Some of his run down tackles are really impressive too.

He's a great player, i think he will turn out to be more than just great as well. Lots of teams bag him cause he's one of those players that are easy to bag, but i think he's good. :thumbsu:

Clokey will become one of the best CHFs in the comp in a couple of years time and if he gets his kicking right we just may have the next big thing

The kid is delivering numbers now that 15 other teams would love to see in their CHF's. He just needs to fix his kicking. The part I like about him is h never drops his head even when he stuffs up.

Check out this site and compare his numbers against every other teams CHF. Scott Lucas is the only one well ahead of him. Riewoldt is just ahead. Franklin for all his hype has more scoring shots but less of the ball. Look out once Travis get's his kicking boot on and he will be Brown like once his frame fills out.

travis cloke is very similar to richo atm, a very good footballer but can't kick. but luckily for us, travis has something that richo doesnt, youth. richo has always had the potential to be a brilliant footballer but his kicking has let ihm down for a while. if cloke can correct his kicking he could become a great foootballer

if Cloke kicks 80+ goals when he is 21 and 22 years old I'll be very happy....
