"THE Crows will close their main training sessions to both media and fans for the rest of the season in a bid to gain a competitive advantage...."

I have two questions to this

Should they go to other clubs training sessions?

Does it do any goodand should all clubs start this?

Morally I think that should stay away from other clubs and not get any inside info. To me it is quid pro quo for clubs and training sessions.

I heard Haysman asked for it cause our training crowds rival your home game crowds :p:D

However you are correct what a joke oh well

How does closing the media out of one training session each week help with rebuilding?

The concept of having set plays is that one's own team should know what they are trying to do in a given situation and and how they are going to attempt it, while at the same time trying to ensure that the opposition doesn't know all this.

How would practicing set plays in one closed-to-media training session per week fail to help in all this?

Sorry ... this is your board, and you are apparently thinking the Crows are being precious and having rebuilding bonding sessions or something.

OK then ... carry on.

Or was that last years catchcry?

Do you really feel left out if you don't get to see the Crows practice something (for one training session only) each week?

Strange thing indeed for a Port supporter, I would have said.

Not to worry, you can still come to the Crows games if you like.

crows being a bit precious again if you ask me

How is having closed training sessions being precious? We're just tired of teaching Choco to coach seeing that he's a regular observer of our training methods. :)

Really, who cares? Mostly it gets the media in a flap and creates more of a circus for the crows as they film through the gates and from helicopters.

If they want to go to other teams' training let them. I'm sure they'll be chased out if they're not wanted there. The other teams can spot a spy a mile away.

I lol'd

Closed sessions haven't got them any success in the past why would now be any different?

If they were a realistic chance of beating Geelong or St Kilda it might be of some concern to those clubs but they aren't so.....
