Following a week after intense media scrutiny and criticism, the Sin City Swamprats have responded with their most insipid display of their season to date, going down by 48 points to the Las Vegas Bears who only had one win going into the bottom of the table clash. Swamprats ruckman Butler was ruoured to say the words 'I hope we never win', on-field late in the last quarter of the game sparking numerous suggestions of tanking by media commentators. The question regarding tanking was put to the Swamprats coach in the post game press conference but it was quickly dismissed.
"It has been dismissed because it is absolutely laughable,"
"You could get offended because it does question your integrity to an extent, but it has just been so far removed from fact that I don't want to engage too much in it, other than to say it is absolutely untrue."
With the Rats now anchored on the bottom of the ladder and the 11th team two games clear, another potential player exodus in the next offseason is concerning SFA HQ. The possible introduction of a Cost Of Losing Allowance to help player retention has been one of the solutions flagged.
However, one department of the Swamprats that has been on top of its game has been the merchandising department as new Swamprat wooden spoon plush toys soon to be available for purchase.

Being an ITK, I'll pass on this little bit of useless information that I heard from a friend of a cleaner on the Ghan.
SFA El Supremo Gallon Mc Hate lan said next season the Swamprats will be handed a few concessions.
Firstly they will get to choose one player from each other teams to join the Swamprats
Will change their colours to Orange & will be known as the plastic GWSwamprats.
They will also be given a larger territory in to recruit more members in the #sackantbear campaign.

Yep, if you happen to lose then it's 2 wins out 16 = 12.5% surpassing the Bombers' 3 wins out of 22 = 13.6% season.The Demons, saving the League and setting new records

P.S I browsed Hate ’s stats yesterday and I couldn’t find anyone pound for pound who could take this title from us
In terms of points, I reckon only the S25 Gumbies were worse ending the season on 8 points because they were penalised 8 points.
