Well we always have a really big night at the Carlton B&F, and the highlight of the night was the interesting cutlery used. Brett Ratten and Scott Camporeale were joint winners (Jesus, wasn't that a suprise) and Anthony Koutoufides lost in the final three rounds to be runner up. The reserves best and fairest went to Jordan Doering, with that spunky little Brett Backwell finishing second.

Steven King won the Cargi Greaves Medal finishing 3 votes ahead of Ben Graham.

In other results:

Best Clubman - Tom Harley
Best First year player - David Spriggs
Most Courageous - Brad Sholl
Coaches award - Brad Sholl

1st- Jakovich
2nd- Kemp
3rd- Morrison

Goal kicking & Clubman- Phil Matera

Rookie- Darren Glass

I'm really glad Jak won. His improved form was one of the only positives this season. Not as good as his last 3 wins, but improvement nonetheless. And he'll thrive on the confidence boost. Now he just needs the captaincy

Eagle_Fan how can you be happy that Jako won, dont get me wrong i love Jako and i hope he gets the captaincy but the award should have gone to Kemp. So many players went missing during the season but Kempy jus kept on racking up possesions, and anyone who knows Kemp knows that when he gets a possesion he doesnt waste it.

1. Kemp
2. Morrison
3. Jakovich

That should have been more like it.

Bad luck Kempy.

What I meant is I'm really happy for Jako. He needs those kind of things to motivate him and boost the confidence and self esteem. Kempy doesn't. Kempy probably did deserve it though, I agree

he just doesn't need so much praise and assurance to play well.....

BTW/ Isn't it great they're both having kids next year? Call it selfish, but I'm hoping for some sons
