The key to working out who it is will be the link to a delisted player, clearly the two players are really close friends.

Just need to go back through the players we recently delisted and work out who they're close friends with.

It’s hard to form a view without access to the image. If anyone has it, PM me so I can engage appropriately.

Seriously though, I find this whole issue somewhat hard to comprehend. I get that abusing that trust is distasteful, but unless the images were taken without authority, surely the authoriser shares culpability. We have enough laws, why do we have to protect people from their own conscious and agreed actions? If you don’t want nude photos of yourself being circulated, don’t authorise them being taken in the first place.

How infuriatingly dumb are people these days?

You don't know whether the photo of the woman was authorised or taken with her permission, though.

I don't know if the law is different for authorised or unauthorised photos. I suspect it's not.

I don’t think the law distinguishes. I’m 100% on board with the blokes being total knobs, but I don’t understand why society spends $ protecting idiots from themselves by prosecuting those knobs. If you willingly authorised the images being taken then tough shit.

I think it's "relatively" safe to assume she was ok with it being taken.... but not shared

Yep

When I take and send a dick pick, I do so knowing the recipient may at any point in time forward it on to someone else.

In fact I expect it to happen.

Mate... I think it's pretty reasonable to expect that people won't share your nude/explicit images around with other people without your consent. Agreeing to send raunchy selfies to someone doesn't authorise them to circulate those images, and there are laws about that very thing for a reason.

In any event, sounds like it's a dead story at this point. Hopefully the players learn their lesson. In this case it sounds like the woman involved just wants the whole thing to go away, but in another case the victim would be well within their rights to drag the player and the club through the mud.

They would actually be dragging themselves through the mud, though.
