I was quite surprised to receive a an official guernsey from the Club the other day (despite not ordering one). Supposedly it had something to do with compensation for barely being able to use my Membership to attend games in 2020/2021. Although I am quite appreciative of this gesture from the Club, I am confused as to why the guernsey I received is a 2017 Home Guernsey (with the Match Day Ticket tag still attached) signed by Nick Larkey

? I don't mean to sound ungrateful, I am just pondering why they would send a 5 year old jumper with a code that I cannot even use?

They probably sent that as it didnt cost them anything. Smart move. They would probably have to pay for puma new ones and having it signed means u likely overlooked it was old.

I think i remember a thread ages ago saying people who complained about value over covid were sent one

That's the thing, I wasn't a member this season (2021 being my last). I can't recall what tier I was, as it was a gift from a relative.
