Not with our current list... Finals maybe, but no chance of a flag or top 4. We desperately need a Mitchell in that midfield.
Then we will still be here in three years talking about the same issues. We could not beat a second string W/Coast midfield, and you think we will compete with the Top 4.No we don't
Was talking about head of football, depending on the review findings.Don't believe you could drag Brad Scott back into coaching..He is enjoying his life..
No we don't

We're probably not desperate for him but a player who can get his hands on the ball as much as Mitchell would be very bloody handy.
No doubt, but I wouldn't pay a 1st rounder for him, given that would be the expectations of the Hawks
They did a review that lead to the sacking of Bolts. This is the review they should have done when they sacked Bolts.
Lloyd not seeming up to it.
Ah, hindsight.

Did they? If so, maybe they had the answer going in and didn't review all facets of the footy dept. Anyway. Hindsight. They did a review that lead to the sacking of Bolts.
That has been the problem for the past 20+ years. Closing the barn door after the horse has bolted. This so called review is only for show. They have their scapegoat in Barker. Rearrange the deckchairs, make the odd adjustment and move on.This is the review they should have done when they sacked Bolts.

I expect this review will be meaningful. Expecting that the outcomes are too. That has been the problem for the past 20+ years. Closing the barn door after the horse has bolted. So the looming shadow of the review didn't lead to Barker jumping ship mid year?Ummm, not sure the review has started, so any outcomes good or bad right now isn't due to "the review"

I know he reportedly said he would see out the year and was told 'thanks, but no thanks', but the timing of that was a little obvious.
While it's clearly not a result of any findings from the as yet unstarted review, it's hard to argue that it wasn't 'due to the review'.
End of 2018, so it helped formulate expectations and KPIs for the 2019 season.Did they? If so, maybe they had the answer going in and didn't review all facets of the footy dept. Anyway. Hindsight.
Ah, so it was the list management team who decided we should re-sign Harry and Cripps. Maybe things aren't so bad after all.Ummm, not sure the review has started, so any outcomes good or bad right now isn't due to "the review"

any word on future romance for me, matthew? Also, the article mentioned four major reviews; Geelong (2006), Richmond (2016), Pies (2017) and Adelaide (2019). Article says Geelong, Richmond, Pies all replaced their Football GM. The google machine adds Adelaide to that pile too. Not looking good for Brad Lloyd...
