Well done to the Cauf Boys, best side all year and not a bad bunch of blokes.

what does everyone think about clubbies next year due to it being down on teams and will teams be promoted to clubbies div 1??
 
You'd think that it would nearly be abandoned due to lack of numbers. More clubs will be entering their sides in the Premier B 3rds. I think Hampton are & a heard whispers that Ormond might be doing the same.
 
The introduction of the Thirds competition was intended to be the nail in the Clubbies competition coffin. The VAFA doesn't like it and wants it gone. I'd say it will go down to one division next year and none the next.

Its a pity you missed the game Uncle Mick. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Mazenod go down! Apparently i also just missed you inh St.Kilda last night. Caught up with Robbo & Power20 & had a number of jars around the traps. I can honestly say that the Karaoke form of the HR boys was appalling! I will touch base with you when pre-seson starts at Ormond for 2011/

Unfortunately Hummer, i think you are spot on. It appears Ormond will be entering a team in the thirds competition next year. It is not a huge change for us but it will continue to place undue pressure on Clubs that struggle to field a second team at times, let alone a 3 team. I hope with all of these prospective changes, it doesnt mean that we will be unable to seek revenge on the RC boys in the future!
 
We'll be in the thirds competition no doubt, Our ressies have got more then enough numbers even without us topping up numbers. Very excited for the banter leading up to that game, especially if Uncle Mick is donning the Blue and Brown

It comes as no surprise. UM is a renowned karaoke king! There's daylight between him and the rest. Shame I pulled the pin as early as I did. Would've been good to have a yarn and hear about your delightful morning at Fort Knox/Elsternwick Park.
Let it be known that I wouldn't be caught dead in an Ormond jumper. Nothing against the lads cos they're a great bunch down there, but I really don't like that jumper at all.

We are flying also beamsy, good turn out to training thus far and the average weight gained is only about 8kgs per player. Well under the allowed 10kg threshold.
 
Nice to hear Hummer. I'm surprised at how good a knick most of our blokes are in. 3 Day Footy Camp this weekend. That may sort a few lads out!

Nothing to be concerned about AA. Old Tear Drops Hummerston doesn't mind having a sook and has taken aim at UM cos he didn't like what he read about the OS defection to RC. Still yet to encounter the keyboard warrior, but hopefully that changes early in the season.

2010 wasn't the best year for the Rovers Chubbies, time to move on.
