Much prefer clubs over bars/pubs. Will generally go atleast once every 2nd weekend and every so often on a wenesday night. Only really frequent 2 places and like most people Amps/Caps is one of them. Keen to go back to Paramount (best music there) but my mates flat out refuse to. Bit of a myth that nightspots are full of these so called 'boofheads'.

depends which club you go to, here in melb we have a club called CQ, you only get in there if your an arrogant pretty boy w***er, would much rather go to pubs and bars as the people in general are much more laidback and you can have a drink and a chat.

Wednesday night at Hipe Club is simply delightful

billboard full of 18 yr olds. cheap drinks on thursday nights $2 pots iirc (havnt been there in probably a year or 2). Cheers is shit - bouncers are w***ers, full of 18 yr olds as well who love pills. There is dirty then there's marquee so so dirty.

Thoughts on Eve Bar?....I don't mind it at all.

Hip-E - one of the seediest clubs I've ever been to. That said nobody goes to the Hip-E until very late/early morning. Biggest sausage fest.

I've seen a photo of a guy banging some chick in the corner of the dance floor at Hipe. Was that you?:p

No but seriously I dislike Hipe on weekends but the crowd and music on a wednesday is good times guaranteed.

I've only been a few times and I guess I've just had shit experiences at the Hipe all the times I've been. The longest i've ever spent there was on a saturday night (bad decision) and that's when a group of curtin pub crawl students (all men) flocked over to us and were very seedy. Wednesday nights i've only been twice and one of the times my friends got into a fight with some other dudes while we were lining up :rolleyes: I used to ALWAYS go to the leedy on wednesday nights but just absolutely hate it now so I probs won't ever go to Hipe.

yeah the perthites couldn't handle it here. HQ is good for picking up dirty bitches but thats it. Redsquare is pretty bad as well. Have you been to Heaven yet?

3am Sunday mornings at HQ- the literal definition of scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Nah haven't been to heaven yet- any good?

Can also say I have never been inside Reds. Lined up once but got sick of waiting so bailed and went to the crazy horse instead.
 
I don't mind hitting clubs in the city or Bay (Adelaidians will know what I mean) every now and then, but pubs are where it is at if you just wanna have a good time with mates.
 
Don't like normal clubbing at all. Shit music, too crowded, ****ing expensive and worst of all, you can't hear the person talking next to you. Quite soulless really. Much prefer a good pub or bar, where you can actually hear the person talking to you on most occasions, and have a much better, and in many cases, calmer atmosphere.

That said, a decent alternative/ hard rock club in Perth might get some attendance from me on an occasion as I will at least be yelling against some semi- decent music.
