Otherwise fair point. The Crows were a combined side hobbled together that no-one really wanted in the early days. They've done a great job to build a strong club from there in my view.

All good, I can see how you got that from it now. Was more referring to Eagles getting a few Port supporters as followers and Port were the biggest club in the league. Most would have jumped ship in 1997 but a few stayed on.

Swans started pushing the 'two cities, one team' Bloods stuff in the mid 2000s under Roos. An awful lot of 'Souths' fans in Melbourne in 05 in jumpers with the tags still on.
