Good to see you in here Mofra, ....remember the old days of vic-stoner-rock....
Ah yes, that was fun for it's life ;)

Was just coming in to share the joy about getting tickets to the 25 Feb show - just re-listening to the live recording from their Dec 07 show, should be a cracker.

I need to get a copy of that... I was there for both nights - both different but totally awesome.

Unfortuantely this is the first time that Clutch have played a show in Melbourne that I'll miss due to FNM playing on the same night. Luckily I'll be at soundwave though.

50,000 Unstoppable Watts has live classic written all over it.
I experienced it live for the first time yesterday and it is indeed a live classic.

Clutch put on the best show at Soundwave I've ever seen them play (and they set an extremely high benchmark in the past). Definitely one of the best live bands in the world at present.

Melb sideshow at the prince was awesome. Aside from one or two tracks, it was a completely different setlist to the festival set (both were great). They recorded the show and you could purchase a CD of the recording after the gig. Listened to it earlier today and it sounds fantastic. :thumbsu:

I gotta say, they are probably the best rock band to get drunk to as well, even better than pirate metal.

Ya, only disappointment at the Prince gig was the lack of 50,000 Unstoppable Watts.
Very different to see them stripped back, but did get Tim Sult vs the Greys pts 1 & 2 live which I had always wanted to see.
