Never agreed with co-captains. Senior players are team leaders, captaincy is an honour, the person who leads the club. Do we now move to co-Presidents, co-CEOs, etc.

It worked ok for the Lions last year and will go with what Sam, club and players have decided. They have not let me down over the last couple of years.

But Captain Nuke my favourite type of Captain …… tough, courageous, brave, strong character. Since day 1 has always made the boys walk out a bit taller and what a player. Amazing news

It could, may have also come down to a player vote and they both ended on the same? Unsure how they were selected but I don't see an issue with having them both.

Why would they not have agreement? They are both singing from the same hymn book, they are part of the same team, trying to achieve the same goal, with the same gameplan and same coach.

I agree with Sam’s sentiments, change is good.
Doing something the same way all the time simply because “that’s what we’ve always done” doesn’t make a great deal of sense to me, and we now have two of our best onfield leaders leaning on each other, rather than just the 1 player being responsible for everything.
