Live in studio according to the ad I just saw.

Reckon they'll go hard on him? Only chance is if JB's worded up Sam I reckon....

Unless he comes out with a whole new stance on his coaching methods and makes it known then I'm done with him.

Seriously done.

I'm not copping this shit anymore. FFS.

"Yeah, look, we would've liked to make a statement, but our injury list prevents us from being able to do that. There's a lot of guys that have been put on notice, and we know as a match committee that we're on notice, and that our performances haven't been good enough. We'll stick to the game plan and back the boys in to get a better result this week. Scott MacMahon's been fantastic in the VFL, as has Sam Wright, and we think that Liam Anthony will give us some good run on the wings."

"Mason and Trent were very close for selection, but they know what they need to do to get a spot in the side. They'll go back to the VFL and really work on the things they know they need to improve, and hopefully we'll see them in the side later in the year. It's just little things they need to fix and we're excited about them as a duo. They're matchday emergencies this week, so we're showing faith."

"We know the result against Brisbane was unacceptable and we had an in-depth review on Tuesday. The players are itching to bounce back against a very good Hawthorn side, but we know where we're at and what we need to do to improve."

There you go. Don't bother watching.

I want to see him grilled, then deep fried.

Sam's the man to do it. Lights out, spotlight on. 2009 style.

But that wont happen, they'll just ham it up, laugh it up, while he talks it up and weaves his way out of anything pressing or ground-breaking. He wasn't nicknamed 'The Bard' on here for nothing.

I'm over the spin and the crap. He's a pretender.

"I congratulated some of the Brisbane boys, including Tom. It was a conversation between the two of us and I asked him some questions, and he responded. As far as I'm concerned, that is the end of the matter. I will always stick up for my players, and especially Boomer. Would I do it again? Absolutely. I spoke to the AFL and they don't have a problem with my actions, so the matter is dead."

Not watching.

1) It's the Footy Show. It's crap
2) They won't go hard on him. Who's interviewing him? His boss who gave him a pointless contract extension? Meh.
3) There is nothing anyone at NMFC can say that will make me happy. It's all about actions. And actions over 8 week at that.

This is not only what will most likely be said but the truth. Wright and Mcmahon have experience and have been generals in their sides wins. They can't do anymore as NMFC listed players. They deserve their chance/s. Against a side like the hawks you can imagine why we havent thrown some guys to the wolves after a short break. I don't think these guys will be the answer going forward but with what we face structure, injury and opposition wise this is as good as we can come up with without jeopardising the other newbies in the side. We would (and may still) get flogged

I have criticised brad, not as hard as others, but this thread got me thinking that imagine how much I can't even stand the site of brad's head on TV any more, shaking his head, throwing his hands up blah blah, spinning what feels like the same old rubbish, then wtf do the players think? They've had their put or shut moments and have stagnated......has he lost em?

Personally think there's too much hamming it up for the media in general. Yes I know the club is doing its utmost to market itself and appear accessible, but after a loss like that on the weekend, I see nothing wrong with a total media ban for a week, training behind closed doors, 100pct focus on footy and nothing else in the lead up to the next match. Show the public that these guys are hurting and their focus is in playing good footy.

Lyon: Boomer/Rockliffe question.
Scott: Blown out of proportion. Good win by Brisbane. Boomer frustrated. Asked Rockliffe what happened, he explained, Scott took it.
Lyon: Should have learned lesson from James McDonald incident a couple of years ago.
Scott: Agrees, but will still back players.
Newman: Did it disrespect J Browns presentation.
Scott: Said it was over, he has great respect for Brown.
Newman: Scott boys are highly strung, what would happen if the incident developed into a fracas?
Scott: Always the potential, won't be doing it again.
Newman: "Reads out some crap from Herald Sun about it lacking leadership"
Scott: People entitled to own opinion.
Lyon: On field, 10 out of 11 goals....wtf?
Scott: Brisbane played well, we couldn't stem the flow, we are disappointed.
Lyon: It has happened before, why?
Scott: It begins and ends with me, inconsistency has been frustrating, we play up-tempo, need to play that for longer.
Newman: Did JB give you a dressing down?
Scott: No
Brayshaw: Frustrating that we can't capitilise, we are inaccurate in front of goal.
Scott: Agrees, last year we were most accurate, this year we are last. It makes a big difference.
Newman: Lame joke about glory be academy.
Lyon: Pearce Hanley....wtf?
Scott: He had an opponent, worked well in 1st, Hanley had an influence but the problem was our stoppages, didn't want a second tagger, locked down on him in second half, we are disappointed. Spoke about influence instead of possessions.
Lyon: Majak question
Scott: We will support him, legal advice was to keep him available for selection.
Lyon: Question to JB about AFL and Majak
Brayshaw: Repeats Scotts answer.

Teams......
