Remember how this board crucified waynesWorld after, from memory, round 1 when we lost to Essendon. 15 weeks, has he been proved wrong yet.

And then how TFS didn't even touch on the stolidness of the NM selection policies.

Never mind, we get an honourable loss tonight and everyone will be happy.

Help me, I'm beginning to turn into Jack Reacher:p

Well to be honest they scored only 25 points in 3qtrs so l agree with Gibson on that point.

Frankly l can take the losses & inconsistency because we don't really have the good calibre of players people think we have just look at the ins this week. As far as Scotts justification for approaching Rockliff what a load of dribble. What did he think he was defusing? It was all done & dusted, it was more a look at me moment than anything, he really lost me with that.
We'll just have to agree to disagree on the meaning of ''excellent''. We beat a cellar dweller in 3 quarters by 16 points, 2 points and 16 points and lost the game. That's not excellent (in my book).

That would be the waynesworld who said we should withhold our money until we were satisfied with what we saw onfield? Yeah, nah. He was wrong the minute that sentiment left his keyboard. Regardless of what the team had done to that point or has done since.

Don't say his name, he'll reappear if you say three times in a row in front of a mirror while on BF.

He is an excellent media performer. It's just a pity for him that we on BF think we are onto his ''schtick''.

Speaking of which, Sam Gibson was on SEN on Wednesday morning and I nearly ran off the road when he said something like ''we were excellent for 3 quarters against Brisbane and lost the game because of one bad quarter.'' ''Excellent'' he said. WTF!!

This is Brad-speak. Sadly, it's become team culture.
We were less crap in those three quarters, and managed to hold the second bottom team to even results. After giving them an apparently unbeatable lead in the second. Whoo hoo.

This team hasn't touched excellent for more than a quarter since they beat Sydney. They have scrapped wins and losses despite a lot of ordinary play.

I'm preparing myself for a slaughter. It's easier if you psyche yourself up for a game where in one quarter we are likely to get blown away.

And remember watch for those 20 minute plus sequences in a game where we don't score a goal and look for how many goals the Hawks score in the same time.

But the sentiment about the improvement in the side was spot on.

After the conga line of Brad friendly questions in the TFS last night. we'll get more dross and more dross.

But....this year has been different. The brilliant wins on the road against top 4 teams in the early rounds showed me what this team is capable of. Since then we have been served up a bucket load of crap.
The last of those brilliant wins was on Anzac Day. Today is US Independence Day. In the 8 games and 70 days since we've played only 2 sides currently in the 8 - both losses. The draw hasn't been hard. We've won 19 of the 32 quarters - not bad. But of the 13 quarters lost we've lost 6 by 20+. We've only won 4 of the 19 by 20+. Only the West Coast win was good enough - the Lions win was against a weak, depleted team and should have been more. The team has hung its hat on those three wins for ten weeks without doing anything to add to them. I'm over hearing about them.

Just watched the interview of Brad Scott on TFS. He said "Stats alone dont impact on making a change on the ground"

Is he ****** serious. I can understand influence on a game is more important as 20 kicks could mean 20 turnovers but if Hanley didnt have a big influence in the 2nd quarter to contribute to Brisbane winning the game, wth is he on about.

Just more dumbass talk from the coach that assures me he aint thinking straight and is not the guy to take us forward.
