FLogdogs have twice the free kicks of the Dreamons :$

If the Downhill Skiers can get up here, they should sack Troy Chaplin, then they can beat Whorethorn next week!

Dees cannot beat the CFL and Gambling Syndicates.

I wonder if Peter Gordon is part of the corruption that ensures the Dogs always get preferential treatment in games (only game i have seen them hosed was against the pies earlier this season)

Not only is Will Day leading frees for, he is the only non-ruckman in the top 5 :$ Bont isn't even in the top 30

No wonder Whorethorn are leading the pack with +55 frees

Ah yes, an average for a bloke who has been out for most of the season. Ironic that you're known for your love of spreadsheets, but don't know how statistics work. :$

Kosi has to be the most expensive downhill skier in history.

His explosive finals series in 2021 will ensure he will never be known as a downhill skier

So he can get away with **** all for the rest of his career, earning a 7-figure salary, because he contributed to their singular flag? Typifies Melbourne culture.

He has played better finals than Mr Golden Boy Issac Heeney.

I know which player I would rather in my side in September for sure.

There is a good reason why Freo fans were absolutely devastated/crying into their nappies when they missed out on his services.

That's why I used average not total, dummy. Fact is he averages more free kicks than anyone and almost double Bont

I notice you conventinetly ignored the Whoreks being +55 for the season :$

I don't recall Day clumsily slipping into an opponent's arm and being given a free. But thanks for confirming you don't know how averages work, with small sample sizes distorting the signal.

You're like a mix between FIG's dickheaded tediousness, AP's misguided convictions, and D_One's fetish for numbers (without his numerical competence).

Even if your theory is true (doubtful), what use are the services of a September specialist in a team that won't play in September for 5+ years?

Unfortunately i fear injuries will deprive Hawthorn and footy fans of a bloke who had the talent and ability to be another Bont/Cripps type generational type midfield weapon and on field leader.

This is not hyperbole either.
Hawks would be maybe locked into top 2 and one of the firm flag favourites if Will Day was healthy and played all season

I sincerely hope Hawthorn spare no expense getting Will D the best possible Medical Care and attention to get his body right, i don't need statistics or boring analytical data to tell me that Hawthorn are a legitimate flag threat when Day is fit and firing.

I can easily see Melbourne bouncing back and making finals next season under Figjam (Buckley is going to take the Dees job)

They do draft well and still got some talent in their VFL team.

The situation there is nowhere as grim as it may seem right now imo. But I have been wrong before, but i think a new change of coach and culture will do them the world of good.

Totally agree, sadly. We have a very good team and IMO a coaching staff second to none, but ATM confined to being one of the pack of good but not great teams vying for the flag. We'd be clear best team with him in and fit, but he's been cursed with his bone structure (and poor luck generally - that Richmond campaigner who threw Newcombe into him last year deserves to die in a gutter).
