Does anyone know in what game the most amount of current senior coaches played?

Off the top of my head, the 2004 Grand Final featured 4 current day senior coaches (and a bunch of assistants)

Chris Scott
Brad Scott
Dew
Hardwick

Furthermore 12 current assistant coaches played that day
Kingsley
Lade
Mahoney (head of football)
Brogan
Chad Cornes
Montgomery
Luke Power
Voss
Nigel Lappin
Caracella
Simon Black
Justin Leppitsch

There were also a lot of senior coaches who played for Hawthorn in the 1980s.

*** Not current senior coaches.

From their 1986 Grand Final team:
Gary Ayres
Rodney Eade
Peter Schwab
Terry Wallace
Gary Buckenara

You might want to look at that era, to see what opponents they might have faced who had future coaches in their ranks.

Here are the playing records for the current AFL coaches
Luke Beveridge - 1989-1992 Melbourne, 1993-1995 Footscray, 1996-1999 St Kilda
Brendan Bolton - DNP
Nathan Buckley - 1993 Brisbane, 1994-2007 Collingwood
Leon Cameron - 1990-1999 Footscray, 2000-2003 Richmond
Alastair Clarkson - 1987-1995 North Melbourne, 1996-1997 Melbourne
Stuart Dew - 1997-2006 Port Adelaide, 2008-2009 Hawthorn
Chris Fagan - DNP
Simon Goodwin - 1996-2010 Adelaide
Damien Hardwick - 1994-2001 Essendon, 2002-2004 Port Adelaide
Ken Hinkley - 1987-1988 Fitzroy, 1989-1995 Geelong
John Longmire - 1988-1999 North Melbourne
Ross Lyon - 1985-1994 Fitzroy, 1995 Brisbane
Don Pyke - 1989-1996 West Coast
Alan Richardson - 1987-1996 Collingwood
Brad Scott - 1997 Hawthorn, 1998-2006 Brisbane
Chris Scott - 1994-2007 Brisbane
Adam Simpson - 1995-2009 North Melbourne
John Worsfold - 1987-1998 West Coast

I'd be looking closely at the following combinations:
1995 - North Melbourne vs West Coast - 5 players (Clarkson, Simpson, Longmire, Pyke, Worsfold).
1995 - North Melbourne vs Collingwood - 5 players (Clarkson, Simpson, Longmire, Buckley, Richardson).
1995 - North Melbourne vs Brisbane - 5 players (Clarkson, Simpson, Longmire, Lyon, Chris Scott)

I haven't looked to see which players participated in which games - just looking for years where the players were active.

Was thinking 2003 GF probably had a few too

Thanks for that - I think you are right about the North / West Coast games.

I've done a little bit more analysis now...

The most current senior coaches playing in the same team was 3 (Clarkson, Simpson, Longmire), playing for North Melbourne in 1995.
The following clubs had 2 current senior coaches in their teams in 1995:
Footscray (Beveridge & Cameron)
Brisbane (Lyon & C Scott)
Collingwood (Buckley & Richardson)
West Coast (Pyke & Worsfold)

Thus 1995 North vs Footscray/Brisbane/Collingwood/West Coast is probably the best guess.

There are many, many possible permutations which could possibly have had 4 current senior coaches playing in the same game. The first of these was in 1988 (North vs Fitzroy), the most recent was in 2004 (Brisbane vs Port).

Goodwin was 1997

Goodwin was 1997
Drafted in the 1996 Pre-Season Draft. AFL debut in 1997.

I've taken the years from their respective Wikipedia pages. I assume they are the years in which the players were on the clubs' lists. I wouldn't make the assumption that every player actually played a game in each of those years. This is why I suggested that the OP start by looking at those match-ups.

What about "current senior coaches", as per the OP's question?
