Leon Cameron should be under a lot of pressure. GWS finishing 3rd is good and all, but the Giants still can't win big games away from home and they're very lucky to even make the top 4 this year. Richmond, Collingwod and Geelong all should of beat them at Skoda.
That isn't true and didn't happen happen though. We did finish top 4, your fantasies aside. If you think that's a matter of luck I suspect you dont get much fun out of supporting Freo

What isn't true? The fact you guys don't win big games away from home? Fantasies? Not sure how one reads my above comment and instantly thinks of that. Not much fun out of watching freo.....says one of the 8 gws fans who knows literally nothing about how a proper club that wasn't gifted everything does a rebuild. I have fun watching freo, our club worked extremely hard to make a grand final and it'll feel absolutely amazing when we win our first flag, we'll earn it too. Your club, well.........the WB banner say it all.

Very much a papering over the cracks result for Brad Scott yesterday. The bears were beyond deplorable.

Mr average likely to smug his way through the corridors after that.

Another list crisis looming going into year 9 for Brad and his acquired band of yes men and useless assistants.

What to do with Scott and the stale coaching panel?

Goldstein, Daw, Waite, Swallow, Thomas, Hansen, Anderson, Gibson and Thompson all at a crossroad in their careers under Scott.

Ideally move Brad on and give Anderson, Daw and Thompson another crack under a better coach. The rest traded/delisted.

Likely outcome is back to inconsistent mediocrity with all of Scott, Thomas, Swallow, Gibson, Anderson, Daw, Thompson and Hansen clogging up the list.

Hardwick - Richmond are not top 4 material and with a far harder draw will miss finals next year after probably straight sets exit this year.
Yet to see a team make top 4 who didn't deserve it, tigers are a top 4 team.

Don't get why people are reluctant to see they have arrived, and could very well be premiers in 2017

Coaches would be loving this new mantra where the coaches get backed in even after bad years. I don't think there has ever been a more supportive environment for coaches. Its a lot harder to get sacked in the 2010s than it ever has been. Coaches like Buckley, Brad Scott, Hardwick all could have been shown the door at various stages in other eras in my opinion (I'm not saying that's the correct call either).

Anyway I would guess Richardson would be one of the coaches under the most pressure. They've had like 3 years in a row where they threatened to make the finals and still haven't made them. Plus its questionable whether they've really improved. I was listening to Richardson on AFL 360 and he wasn't particularly convincing at suggesting they have improved. One more year out of the finals and I think he could be gone (not sure on contract status).

I reckon Ross Lyon would have his detractors. I'm actually amazed at how well he has been able to sell the rebuild spiel when it wasn't that long ago they were minor premiers and they aren't exactly a young team - more a team with lots of experience that's trying to introduce a few youngsters (like Hawthorn). He's got a bit of a dodgy cars salesman vibe about him for mine. The long term contract though will probably keep him safe unless they really fail on field. I'm still quite amazed by the 2 104 point losses in a row. That's not a team playing for their coach.

i actually think it would be better to rate them based on a 3-5 star rating rather than in order as the measures are hard to quantify
I am sure Lions supporters will say that Fagan has done a great job and also I am sure the ratings would change based on the finals series where coaches can greatly improve how they are thought of in the game
Clarkson for the 3peat and Beveridge for the 2016 finals series and premiership
