I heard Richardson say before the game that steele would be set to curtail cripps. I know he got the ball a bit, but he was reasonably ineffectual doing his job. Perhaps his role changed when it wasn't working.

Wow. Wasn't exactly expecting 10 votes, but geez, the guy gets almost knocked out by a thug, is tightly checked and still manages 30 posessions, 18 contested and two goals (one a ripper). Meanwhile their vote getters waltsed around a side with two-down and a bunch of kids. Would love a nice paragraph from the coaches justifying zero votes for Crippa.
Edit: I get very frustrated with what I perceive to be a strong bias towards players in the winning side when votes are cast. Grrrr.

My sentiments exactly how Cripps didn't even receive 1 vote is beyond laughable. Puopolo had one good quarter the last when we ran out of gas, Hardwick and Henderson did sweet **** all and to give them votes before Cripps is wrong. Bolton needs to get his old brown and yellow glasses cleaned.

Does Tom Mitchell have a strange body shape? Something about his muscular, stubby arms and chest/back/torso profile. Kinda looks like he's been crossed with a Pit Bull terrier. Even when he tackles, looks like said animal locking onto prey. Stick a mic on him and I bet you can hear scary, guttural sounds.
