Almost certainly it was Ross that gave him donuts. Not sure what the hell game he was watching? Maybe Newman ran over his cat or something....

I think Ross only watches half the ground. Would explain his teams' turgid lack of offense and double-teaming Charlie deep into the last quarter when scoring was needed. If so, he'd barely have sighted Newman who utterly owned the other half of the ground all day long.

I’ve said it before Arr0w. But he reminds me a bit of Mil Hanna. Neither of them are the cleanest users of the ball. But when the game is over, I reckon that when you subtract the bad from the good, they are always well and truly on the right side of the ledger.

What has impressed me the most is his 'atypical' winger qualities.

You expect your wingers to run all day and help out defensively.

Acres does that, but also tackles. He takes a decent amount of contested or intercept marks. He's tall, broad and solid - unlike the usual winger built like say Lachie Whitfield.

Interesting that you mentioned Mil Hana; he was an absolute unit. A moving ball of lean muscle. Blake even wears Mil's old number!

This is super unfair to other teams.

Our players will have four wins to poll from whereas other teams will only have a maximum of three :p
