Break up between the coaches was as follows:

JDG 5 from both coaches
N. Daicos/ E Ratugolea 4-2 from 1 coach and 3-3 from the other
Pendles 4 from 1 coach, 0 from the other
Crisp 2 from 1 coach and 0 from the other
J. Daicos and I Smith 1 from 1 coach and 0 from the other.

Best 4 players on the ground were the 2 Daicos boys, DeGoey, Pendles. Chris Scott kidding himself giving two of his blokes votes.

Feels like Titch was hard done by to get no votes with 21 disposals 11 clearances and 2 goals tbh.
I would definitely have had him ahead of Crisp and probably Josh Daicos too.

I'm happy to start tracking these from next week also so we have a running total to pin at the top.

Probs wouldn’t have had him ahead of Josh, purely on the basis that he was making ridiculously difficult kicks look easy. Both those boys make kicks that 3/4 of the players in the league wouldn’t even dream of attempting and nail them almost every time.
Agree on Crisp, though his last quarter was v good.

Great start for Jordy. Lets hope it's onwards to a great consistent season from him, because if it is, it will go along way to us winning the premiership.
On individual honours, l would love to see Jordy get to be an AA this season and win the Copeland....

Pendles still clocking up votes. As said before, the guy is a freak. How he can maintain such consistency and quality in performance over such a long period of time in his career, is just freakish.

Wonder which coach gave Nick 4. I’m guessing the Port coach.
Maybe, but to be fair Cameron was pretty awesome too and there wasn't much between him and Nick.

Interesting that Maynard got a vote which I reckon was from Fly for completely turning Rioli invisible.

LEADERBOARD

  1. 15 votes: Nick Daicos
  2. 10 votes: Jordan De Goey
  3. 8 votes: Darcy Cameron
  4. 7 votes: Josh Daicos
  5. 4 votes: Scott Pendlebury

Interesting side note…one of the factors behind Eagles winning the 2018 Grand Final was Lycett shutting down Grundy. This week our bargain basement version smashed Lycett while Grundy rucked to the worst performance of the Melbourne midfield in years.
