It was great to watch, even Anderson and Brayshaw played blinders
I reckon what happened in that game is both coaches backed both their primary midfield duos (Anderson-Rowell vs Serong-Brayshaw) and told them to focus on their own ball, and they rewarded the player that came out on top in that inside battle overall. Serong had almost as many CPs than Rowell+Anderson combined and more clearances than both combined too. He just wasn't as damaging moving the ball forward but that's not where the game was being played.
I really enjoyed that midfield battle. 4 top midfielders going hell for leather
