Well with the precedent set by Geelong it would seem Mitchell will be remaining as an assistant coach at WCE next year

After all a contracts a contract and family circumstances don’t outweigh that

Luke Webster, who has coached East Perth for the last three years, will now be at the helm of the West Coast Eagles reserves team, after the WAFL last week voted in favour of a stand-alone team from the club in the competition from the 2019 season.

Line coach at Perth for the last three years and working at the Wirrapanda Foundation as an Employment Coordinator.
He will be our Development Coach working with the Clubs Forward......... Liam and Willie would be beneficiaries of this appointment ( Particularly Ryan ).

Perth is a great place, but it became apparent that with the heavy travel commitments and living in an isolated city away from our support network, was not conducive with a young family.

Lucky he wasn't at the Cats or he would be screwed.

Thanks! Aside from not fully understanding what that title and role entails, I wasn't sure whether one should read anything into the fact he wasn't mentioned in today's announcement; perhaps not surprising or noteworthy at all if Hickmott's role is to continue unchanged.
