Not thread worthy, but I wonder if Benny Gale would be tempted to apply for the NRL CEO job, which just became vacant

Surely not.......it's a poisoned chalice and the media are pressuring for a league person to take over, dave smith was forever hounded for mixing up players names, so unless it was Vlad who is known for his success, they won go for another outsider

Na Graham Annesley has the job if he wants it. After the last clown they want a Rugby League person to get the job.

Jim Doyle, current CEO of the Warriors and recently resigned NRL COO is in the running.

They want a league person I believe.

I re-read your post, RB. It still read the same as before to me.

Might seem like quibbling about words Tiger, but I don't think it's sacking someone if you don't re-sign them. Plenty of contractors finish their job and don't get another one at that place.

What I want to see is Hardwick finish his time with dignity, be thanked for his excellent contribution (3rd longest serving coach of the RFC), then some changes. Not just head coach, but across the Footy Dept. (Some promising moves there, already.)

It's a different thing to a sacking in my mind. Less stigma for Hardwick. No messy pay-out. And most importantly, gives the club 2016 to recruit someone who has a genuine chance of improving the team relative to the opposition.

I don’t really want to explain myself excessively. I doubt anyone else gives a ****. Have glance over my reply to Westiger above.

tl;dr? Not re-signing is different to sacking, in my mind.

Saying “sack Dimma” is also an instruction to people outside my control. I’m not on the RFC Board of Directors. I wouldn’t say “sack Dimma”, because that, my fine Tiger friend, is an exercise in frustration. I said “I don’t want him re-signed”. This indicates my own desires, but gives no instruction to anyone.

Hopefully, you see the difference. If you don’t… Well, nothing. I don’t mind, one way or another. I don’t come in here to argue with fellow Richmond supporters.
