Am I thinking about it wrongly or does Josh Carr's moving look a little like he could see the writing on the wall?

We have known for some weeks that Buddha would not be coaching the Magpies next year. Josh goes to coach a basket case SNAFL club for probably a lot less money than he was earning. Was coaching the Magpies not an option?

My wishlist would be Basset defensive Nicks and Voss Midfield Stevie J forward coach. Hocking bench mentor and instruction provider

After seeing the interview on Thursdays footy show do you think Stevie J would be a chance to come to Port as a player/coach with a move to full time coach after one or two years.

It would make a interesting forward line with him along side of Chad, Dixon and Jay.

I got the impression he still wanted to play on. If he still has a couple years left in him would he be worth the risk as a player?
