If we do hire Barker, I will be bitterly disappointed.

Barker turned a forward line containing 2 of the best key forwards in the competition, into a completely disfunctional unit.

Skinny Lappin did a much better job in 2010 than Barker, given what they both had at their disposal.

Interesting to see who we land as an assistant coach.

Seeing that this is the bullsh!t thread, I'll throw up one that is looking more likely now that he isn't favourite to get the gig at the Scum. Based on the dynamic at the club between Ratts and Swanny etc. and just who makes these decisions, it will be very interesting. I would suspect that Swannie would want this AC but maybe not Ratts, who knows, but I keep hearing that the Junkyard Dog is at the top of the wishlist. ;-)

If the rumours are correct that Hird, Williams, Wallis and Goodwin are set to join O'Donnell and Richardson over at Windy Hill, Laidley is likely to miss out there. He must hold that view too as I just got told he has agreed to hold discussions with us on Wednesday. We will soon know. Better news than John Barker being a lock as our Forward Coach, IMO.

See now this is something I cannot stomach. The fact that Laidley has waited for a decision to be made regarding the Essendon job before discussing things further with us, tells me he prefered elsewhere. Why? Was it a different job or more money at Essendon or is it he prefers them before us? I hope it's not the latter as I would not be discussing anything on Wednesday!

It should be us they would be falling over to get too and not the other way around!!

If only they had a talented playing list to go with these coaches. You have to feel for whoever will be the midfield coach. He will only have Jobe Watson at his disposal.
