The AFL must allow us to succeed if that means Clarko, Choco or Roos get it done! We must be given every chance possible to succeed with the RIGHT key personnel. The AFL needs to give us the right tools for the job. Given how badly our club was set up both operationally and corporately at the start it's time for the AFL to right those wrongs and enable us for success.

Don't forget, Choco spent years living on the Gold Coast when he played for the Bears and has intimate knowledge of the challenges that come with running a team in this city. That's another big plus.

The Suns need someone who has had real success before as a coach. Doubt Voss would have been the right fit. As other posters have correctly said, Clarko or Choco is the sort of calibre the club should be seeking.

Only after the AFL and Paul Roos set them up (2014-2016) following their disastrous years (which Viney talked about recently after their premiership win). Imagine if Guy McKenna or Dew followed someone like Paul Roos setting up the club…
