Just been announced a few hours ago the new KK movie.A new Karate Kid Movie is in the makings apparently.
Touted for 2024.
I think it will be based off Season 6 to come out likely Dec 2023.
Following Cobra Kai’s Success, A New Karate Kid Movie Is On The Way
The Karate Kid is heading back to the big screen.www.cinemablend.com
Just been announced a few hours ago the new KK movie.
It does make you wonder, given Cobra Kai has probably and potentially exhausted every storyline, how a reboot of Karate Kid movie franchise could be successful. It will apparently have no connection to the series and the writers not involved.
Given a release date of 7 June 2024, meaning filming will begin next year.
Note the writers of Cobra Kai still have ambitions of Cobra Kai movie. So this is still very much alive and I think there will be one still to come for this series.
Lets not forget, movies today some of them are released straight to Netflix/streaming platforms and not to cinema, which is what I assume will happen with any movie that comes be it connected to the CK series or KK movies/universe.

So effectively just a group of parasites and bottomfeeders at Sony (?) trying to cash in on the creation of others.
Proper fans will avoid at all costs. Just like that horrendous Ghostbusters with chicks abomination.
Slapping Chris Rocks son at the All Valley. We should all be happy that Will Smith is an executive producer on CK in name only and he has absolutely nothing to do with the show. Otherwise you just know his son would be in it.
Exactly. I dont have a need to watch a reboot/re-imagined story of the KK.So effectively just a group of parasites and bottomfeeders at Sony (?) trying to cash in on the creation of others.

He would have tried to push hard for it too, if his son wanted to be in it as well.We should all be happy that Will Smith is an executive producer on CK in name only and he has absolutely nothing to do with the show. Otherwise you just know his son would be in it.
The reboot with Smith and Chan really wasn't that bad, it was just a bit uninspired.
But doing another reboot or remake is not what people want now. Cobra Kai is where it is at.
Dont get me started on T6 killing off John Connor.Or better still, just don't reboot anything and create your own content.
All these reboots give me the jimmies mate.
What Fast and the Furious are they up to these days? Fast and the Furious 72 - Nursing home gopher drift?Dont get me started on T6 killing off John Connor.
I was backing the Rev 9 or whatever that abomination it was the entire time.
Many Terminator fans hate everything after T2. At least T3,T4,T5 had some continuation and connection, which made watching T1 to T5 some meaning.
The difference being is that FF fans dont hate the movies that came out after the first one or two. If anything Fast Four, really rebooted the series and made it what is today. What Fast and the Furious are they up to these days? Fast and the Furious 72 - Nursing home gopher drift?
Or better still, just don't reboot anything and create your own content.

Point Break had a reboot. Looked s**ti dont think i have watched any reboots of movies that i liked back in the day, you know they won't be as good as the original
