I haven't brought myself around to going to watch Coburg since they affiliated with us. Just hasn't seemed right. They were always the VFA version of Essendon. I miss the reserves & U/19's which I used to watch regularly, so suppose I should bite the bullet and go to watch our exciting young prospects coming on.
Maybe there'll be another Justin Plapp. :D

well so far Miller has gone alright, so I trust his opinion.

The injuries aren't overly concerning at his age...look at Ports' Wilson.

But apart from the knee injuries, and even at his best I don't think he'd squeeze in past Cogs, Brown, Johnno, Cambo and Tivvers anyway.

But he'd be OK on a flank/pocket...

Hopefully though Dragga will make it back.

My heart's in my mouth on the rare occasions I've seen him since his first reco. I think he's fragile now, and his twisting as an evasive skill would have to be hampered. I hope he can force his way back but I doubt he can.

Sandy had a strong team in, most of whom were AFL listed.

Newman's on our rookie list & is one to watch. Nick Sautner's the best Full Forward at VFL level, Sandy were premiers the last season he was there (2000).

Sandy were 3rd last season, so no shame in Coburg losing at TBO no matter how strong your squad looked.
