Plenty of talk about Hislop having contract talks prior to his dual knee surgery that ended his season. Given the requirements of paying players that have their careers ended by workplace injury, that doesn't surprise me, although it may be with him getting demoted to a rookie spot.

I expect McMahon, Polo, Thomson, Simmonds, Polak, Roberts to be the first out the door. Hopefully we can trade Tuck and someone like McGuane, Moore or even Morton for a couple of extra spots.

Hope Cousins doesn't go

backwards step x2 why trade away our best kpd? and we would most likely want a draft pick for him so why give away a proven player who is 1 of the 1st players on the team sheet in defence each week for a 50/50 chance at getting someone equal or better?

That's quite an encouraging effort from Coburg. Patchy is to be expected. We ripped heart out of that side last fortnight - Polo, Post, Rance, Nahas, Webberley, Morton, Browne plus McMahon injured and replaced them with just Bling and Vickery. Good signs for future IMO.

You have to trade something of value to get something of value
Tuck & Moore are two of our older players and play in positions we have other players to cover their spots. Morton may be on the way to redeeming himself, but he's taken a long time to adjust and for the right offer you'd have to consider giving either of them away for a decent pick, especially Tuck.
