I heard the AFL are creating a 'Best Training Facilities' trophy so that Fremantle finally have something for the cabinet
We've got this one:

We won that London game against the Weags all those years ago. The game with the all in brawl where Woosha and Suma complained about Freo going too hard.
After a google search I determine the trophy to be AFL Challenge Trophy.

I had a bit of banter with this very subject the other day on facebook with some slime buddies after the Scorchers won their 3rd cup.
It pretty much went-
"haha Scorchers 3 cups- Fremantle 0"
"West Coast 3 cups- Fremantle 0"
to which I replied-
"West Coast 1,000,000 w*****s - Fremantle 0"
then another muppet chimed in-
"yeh that's why they're called Fre0000"
to which I then replied-
"1,000,001 w*****s"
I got some love for that one lol.

Took the dog for another walk past and into Lathlain Park to see how the wiggles progress is coming along.
Has been a lot of progress clearing the general area up, you can see the two ovals clearly side by side now (no bank on the far side of the old Lathlain oval anymore). The ground for Perth is now pretty well grassed but patchy in areas.
The wiggles ground is just starting to see tingles of green. It has a path way (like the width of a bike path) around the complete oval that is now being covered by artificial turf. The oval certainly looks a good size. Still no buildings of any sort started.
I kid you not but as I was looking closely at the Wiggles oval a rather large cat walked down to the outside of their new oval dug a massive hole and had an almighty dump. I am not one to ignore such a powerful sign and will be putting a fortune on the Cats when they next play the Eagles, you should too!!

Nah, surely it was Mitch Clark? Or did freoextra say it was a current cat?
Nope, looked a lot like Cameron Ling - so an unfortunate looking and ginger cat.
Sadly, I would have only been slightly surprised (in the Ben Cousins way) if it had been Mitch Clark.

West Australian. The money is for giving up the lease and the building at Freo Oval. They did say under 4 million dollars was the likely settlement.

I think Fremantle Football Club should have a quiet word to the holders of the unused Australia Day fireworks if they are able to get nearly 4 mill for leaving.
That really is a reason to have a big fireworks show, perhaps on the night they move to their new training facilities in Cockburn, unlike Fremantle Council I am sure Cockburn Council would enjoy the show!!

Not true, the reason is that the through road is not finished.
Maybe, but Hardie is one of the better connected analysts (not hard). He reckons it's a ohs issue at the moment but getting better.

Well, the club appears to be happy to run the course of giving the big "* you" to the people of Fremantle. I hope those responsible for backing this action are around to cop the fallout if they ever need to crawl up to the heavily Fremantle-influenced future Council of the City of Cockburn/Fremantle.
I don't care what anybody says, this is a reprehensible act from our club, pushing a potential 9.4% rate increase onto a lot of people who can't afford it, many of them our own members.
Cry me a river about it being a smart business move, "* you" businesses always fail.

The WAFC is asking for 11m a year to give up lease rights to subiaco.
FFC holds a 37 yr lease over freo oval. There asking less then 100k a year, if anything FFC is getting ripped off here and are being far to generous due to some form of misguided loyalty to Fremantle council.
I would suggest 1m per year should be closer to the mark
