Does anyone happen to know when the Roos are having their cocktail party this year (the one that you get an invitation for if you are a pagan's patron member)?
And also what the cost of a ticket is?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The chicks & I were just talking about this today. The membership brochure has it down as Monday 14th May. I assume they had to book Crown Palladium well in advance to have this info available to print. It may well still change.

Hopefully we'll receive publicity about it in the next week, that should outline the costs to bring guests but I think it has been around the $50-$60 mark in previous years.

Don't expect much from our player revue, its not for ordinary fans like us.

They incororate a massive auction which is fine if you have a lazy few thousand in your bank account to blow.

Last year, far too much time was spent on raising revenue and not enough on revue acts or entertainment. Unless I hear any whispers from the players that they're actually putting in an effort themselves this year then I won't go along & just leave it to the rich folk.

For those of you who know me well, you will know that the Cocktail party for Malibu is also known as "Let's have cleavage on display and drink as much free champagne as I can possibly drink within a 2 hour period".

I will be easily to spot, a glass of white bubbly in each hand (Just hope it's not Moet & Chandon - I'm allergic to it!) hanging around the back of the Palladium. Look for me in the Oak Room afterwards..

Haven't tried apple schnaps, but Butterscotch schnaps is divine! Still got a nearly full bottle in the cupboard at home to polish off!

Carlton Cold or Light Ice were the beers listed as available, but only Carlton Cold in the ice buckets GRRRRRRRR

Didn't make much of a difference, seeing our seats were in a F*CKING DRY AREA
