Sorry we meant Coffield but this god damned auto correct [emoji6]

Post of the day and I haven't even had my morning coffield yet :coffee::)

Nice to see the Coffee thread is taking off.

PS: I would be quite ok with taking Hunter Clark at 8. Gun mid, spent the year developing playing down back a bit. So he’s shown himself to be capable of of multiple roles. Great kick off both feet, deceptively quick ala Billings. Get the feeling in a few years he could be a bit of a Mundy type chinning campaigners.

I vote yes. Hunter > Squibbins

We would have a far better chance of picking our draft choices if we knew what Coffee they drank.
Knightmare, Twomey and the others have let us down dreadfully.
Surely there is combine data about the Coffee they drank.

Try getting a decent coffee anywhere in Europe, except Italy.

Going back to Britain next year and hear London had got lots of Aussie type cafes now.

I went to an "Australian style Vietnamese" restaurant in Camden. It was very good. https://www.opentable.com.au/coba I guess it was the pretentious industrial fit out that made it Aussie style. Very nice food though.

Europe is much better for coffee now, you can get on line and scout them out first. Even Tokyo is good these days, 10 years ago I was like a junky sucking canned coffees down on train stations trying not to get the shakes in Japan.

Avoid all the Pret-A-Manger "organic " coffee shops, its hard, one on every corner

The prepackaged lunch/dinner shops are huge in London, Sainsbury's Go and stuff are on every other corner. Pret-A-manger are shit but an upgrade on Subway.

The only truly good coffee I had in Europe was at a bar/cafe in Rotterdam. Fantastic flat white with a tiny stroopwaffle (syrup waffle) and a small water chaser for like 2.50 euro. Genuinely rivalled Melbourne.

Everywhere else was utter garbage though.

Amsterdam is actually pretty good for coffee too. Anywhere around the city is pretty easy to walk to and places like the Jordan have a lot of options. Bocca is really good too.

Who the Fek is coffee?

Bonar/Fog/Brayshaw/Higgins, any of those will do.

I have never got a draft pick right ever, so rule out those 4

You mean, long black, double shot, flat white and espresso?

Pelligrinis is the only reason the missus comes to Melb with me when we go to see the saints play ... we once sat next to Patty Newton at the bar .. to this day thats one of her highlights of Melbourne.. back in the day nothing beat Melbourne coffee but honestly in the last couple of years Perth has come on leaps and bounds in the coffee stakes and while you may have to take out a second mortage to afford it in Perth the quallity is prtty close to overtaking Melbourne ..

Yeah Pellegrini's is a classic. Coffee is pretty good in most places these days in Oz.

You city slickers don't know how good you have it.
Finding a bad coffee melbourne is as hard as finding a good one in the sticks.
No espresso machines at the local footy here mate its international roast.
I think old people in the country think the coffees weak if its not burnt.
And complain its too cold if the milks not 200° and sour.

If we are going to go on about coffee here's my bitch.

My mate used to have a coffee franchise at VFL park (before the AFL sold him out to a corporate catering firm) - 3 outlet coffee machine on a trailer and on a cold day (every day at Waverly) we'd do up to 100 made to order coffee's around half time.

Now I walk into a cafe and order a coffee and some man bunned bearded tattooed "barista" farts around for 5 minutes and I just about lose it every time.

Make my coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
