How do you go when you have a cold or even worse, flu?

What medications actually work?
Do you use any natural remedies?
Just rest?

Interested to see what you guys think. Cheers. Due back at work tomorrow and due to a pre-existing condition I seem to catch everything like Ricky Ponting at point.

Tend to wear it and try to go to bed earlier. Otherwise day in bed.
Scotch/kraken and coke clears it right up.
But I tend to catch colds/flu/covid when I'm run down. Rest is really the only prevention or cure. Be as settled as possible. Especially in the cold

Psuedoephedrine, fluids and sleep are the only things that seem to work for me.

Anecdotally I seem to kick it quicker if I take a day off as soon as I feel myself getting sick.

Rest and fasting. Get some sun if I can. Watch comedy films in bed if not sleeping.

I have a brew of lemon, ginger and honey. Keep my vitamin intake up (I take vitamins regularly).

Influenza is a b*tch. Not much you can do other than if the doctor prescribes any specific medications.
