Actually useless. Always fail to start chants. Only tried like twice all game. Then get annoyed when other people start their own chants. You’re also not allowed to cheer a players name after they kick a goal or you’ll get death stares from them.

I’ve noticed the atmosphere at Freo games has decreased dramatically over the last couples years.

The crowd is wanting to get behind the team so much but the game style we play just doesn’t allow it.

The Freo atmosphere used to be insane but I feel every one is just a bit meh atm. I have no doubt success will get the place rocking again.

But how I long for those days at subi when the atmosphere was just incredible.

Completely agree. It’s the style of play, and until that changes the atmosphere won’t change.

Even just a few years ago when we were a finals team the crowds were ****ing electric during that time, some of those home games against GWS and Carlton in early 2022 had some of the best crowds I'd seen from us in years, they were fully invested.

I go to the footy to see the game. To yell and scream and make my own noise.I don't want or need any fake noise to get me going.If you wanna sit there with ya thumb up ya bum, then do it, Want to sit there and say nothing, just do it.
Please don't assault my faulty hearing with the crap, over load music and compares. It is impossible during the breaks to have a conversation with my mate in the next seat.
It pisses me off.
I don't want to hear Ba Baa black sheep or AC/DC, Queen or any other artists while I am at the game.
It drives me mad.

the music at the game was really bad yesterday. Is there someone new in that role. If so, they should sack themselves. It was embarrassing.

They sure do. I was hopeful when the guitarist on the podium at the top of the stadium started playing “Hells Bells” that he would play the whole thing. Alas it morphed into Queen and the solo thing and yawn.

I was also hopeful the bell tolling was symbolic of time being up for Jlo.

Personally I think the atmosphere at Subiaco was better with smaller crowds and I blame the manufactured noise.

Hope they read this so they get confronted with both how useless they are, but how they actively seek to harm the Fremantle Football Club for their own ego.

There’s a few guys who sit at the back of that block who literally don’t shut up all game and always get the people around them going too. Cheer squad down the front will either refuse to join in, or start their own conflicting chant.

Then they’ve also got their dumb chants that no one likes and fall flat.

Extremely devastating hearing that Coldplay song multiple times through the broadcast, a massive misfire. Any accumulated energy just evaporates.

Also, this is my yearly complaint about the roof shred king.

The symbolic failure of what is intended as a rebellious act of a rock'n'roller blazing away sky high, is subverted by him playing a FIFTY YEAR OLD song and strung up in safety equipment like a toddler hanging on for dear life. Play a song from this decade, hell even this century (not Coldplay) and untether yourself from the safety harness you cat.
