Birss - instrumental in the Tigers fightback today in the last quarter, can play.

Murphy - Has a genuine dip and has skills, the loss also got to him at the end of the game so he has a bit of emotion which is good.

saw birss play in vfl grand final today nothing special looked good at times but then very dissapointed with other efforts...can't see him as a pie next year. Not the kind of player we are after

Eade has said time and time again they won't trade for the sake of trading. There's no way in the world Eade will go through with a Birss-Cole trade. And please, don't judge Birss based on the VFL Grand Final. He had a shocker and is capable of much better.

I dont see our need for cole, I really dont. cam faulkner could go back as a defender, he is quicker and has better disposal and just as hard, even if he is an inch shorter. he has that scary closing speed and tackles hard.

however. if eade has his little heart set on cole for some reason, Id rather let those guys like birss, power or murphy get a chance to be in the starting 22 at another club rather than trade away a 3rd rounder. We have Scott Clayton, so give him the picks!

Birss is a good player, decision making can be a little poor, but he can find the footy and use it adequately

would be in our best 22 based on this season, but a trade for Cole i would be disappointed in, as i would feel we could get more for Cole, but he did have a stinker this eyar, which does hurt him and his value
