I don't think we played badly today at all. The Dockers are playing good football and we won. It wasn't perfect but the intensity of both teams was good and we beat their midfield. We didn't take all our opportunities but it was a good game and good win.

Our forward entry was shite, to play well it has to be over the whole ground you can't have one area letting you down like we did today. But we won, good teams do that when playing badly thats one hell of a positive for us.

I do think our forwards looked dysfunctional early (especially with no smalls at the front of a marking contest) but overall, I thought we were the better team and won in a good physical contest. I see that as a good game and a good win. But not perfect by any means. The Dockers are playing good footy this year and we walked away with the win and deserved it.

I thought it was a good game at good levels of intensity. I expected to get pumped by a lot more. Hard to be critical of the eagles though. Your half back line is great and our forward line is getting thinner by the week...so to get within 8 points with that many junior players in the team is good and shows we are building something.
