Jai Culley the standout for me so far, Essendon will be kicking themselves if they can’t get an MSD pick being 3rd bottom as Culley is exactly the player they need.

Caleb Windsor has been Metro's best for mine, with O'Keefe strong in the ruck. Early on but a few of the bigger names not having the impact I'd expect

Young Guns Goals; Harvey Gallagher 4, Jai Culley 3, Jerome Lawrence, Toby Murray, Max Ramsden
Metro Goals; Harry Sheezel 2, Jason McCormick 2, Josh Bennetts, Nate Caddy

Culley clearly best on, but Gallagher and D'Ambrossio have also been really impressive with their impact, D'Ambrossio is a really clean user in the bak half, precedent with Baker, Daniel, etc. has been set that shorter guys can still play backline at the next level. Ramsden has impressed me moreso than he has before, matching it with O'Keefe in the ruck but also impacting up forward.

Caleb Windsor and Ben Hempel are really the only consistent performers for Metro so far, Sheezel and McCormick have had a few nice moments, hope Sheezel gets thrown into the guts for the second half to get him more involved. Also liked Josh Bennetts so far, despite being shorter in size he's going for some courageous marks

Mid-season draft locked in: Which clubs have a list spot?

A date has been set for this year's Mid-Season Rookie Draft

Five clubs – Carlton, Fremantle, Geelong, Hawthorn and Sydney – all have one list spot free that can be filled via the mid-season draft, although Adelaide can also open up a spot given Rory Sloane's season-ending knee injury.

Gold Coast (for Ben King) and St Kilda (Nick Coffield) could also place their respective injured players on the inactive list to open up a mid-season pick.
