this bloke is as corrupt as they come in this caper. you cannot do what he has done and expect to get away with it. desperate men do desperate things and this bloke's time in the sunshine has come to its end. and besides, he was little more than a pawn for another melbourne-based president who has his own questionable agendas to run.

I'm not going to walk away from DeLutis altogether, everyone makes mistakes, but this one is a bad one from DeLutis. I am more really disappointed than angry, I was hoping DeLutis was different from Elliott, I was hoping he would be a person for the people, the supporters, and that he'd present his case to the supporters and let us vote him in democratically.

I'll be voting for Carlton One in November, but I might just decide to vote DeLutis back in along with Kernahan too, although if I hear of any more of these immoral and dirty vote stacking type situations from DeLutis then I'll probably be inclined to scrub him altogether for good.

Deej . . . i admire your temperance, but if you sleep with dogs you will wake with fleas. the moment de lutis was endorsed by jack he was as as good as finished as far as i'm concerned. you cannot support a regime which has run a club like our's into the ground and expect to come out smiling and sound. no matter how expensive your suit. no matter how engaging your smile.

I had an open mind about De Lutis, despite him being on Jack's side, but this has tarnished him in my view. Also, I just learned that he is the director of marketing and membership. Given marketing is a concept foreign to Carlton and we have a scheissenhausen membership then he hasn't done a great job.

There is a bigger question here. Reform is more than shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic. Carlton needs to re write their constitution for starters. You cannot have a democratic process when your very governing rules are undemocratic. Then they need to replace behind the scenes string pullers. Carlton has long been run by people who do not stand at elections.

Collo has said that that will happen if C1 get in power. And about time too......Carlton currently thinks very little of its members. Shows in how low our membership is.

The latest rumour is that Colin De Lutis has resigned from the board, despite Elliot anointing him as his successor. Who's Elliot's successor now, Kernahan?

It's been confirmed that DeLutis has resigned from the Carlton board, whilst on a trip to New York. Heard this on 3AW.

Elliot is running out of options.

Some of you guys don't get it ... perhaps because you are NOT Carlton supporters. The people slinging mud have been told by the members in no uncertain terms that their performance (or lack of) has been recognised by enough Members to force them out. Elliot has been talking about democracy, well he is now experiencing it (after his days in court). Unfortunately by refusing to resign he is costing the members a month of lost time and the cost of an extra EGM. Such is the cost of democracy Elliot style.

And whether he got Richo or not had nothing to do with it, although that may have lost him a few more votes if he DID get him.
