Last year i said to a number of North flogs - SLF, DarwinRoo, jacko etc that Sylvia would be looked upon as a better player then Wells at the end of their careers. As i said, i was laughed at, but i knew it would happen. I had a feeling.

Sylvia's had a good month, but that doesnt make him a great. No one says Kosi was a star after that '05 purple patch.

Wells doesnt get it 30 times a match, which is annoying, because at times it looks like he is cruising. But, on the other hand, he doesnt need it 30 times. Wells' touching it 20-25 times can cut the other team to shreds. He only had it 22-4 times against Port but was clearly best on ground.

Im not going to vote for either, because they both havent done much. Wells needs to get a bit of grunt and play through the pain. He also needs to try to take the game on more and kick more goals instead of always looking to dish it off first option.

Is it? I just thought it was because unlike Melbourne supporters we hang around our own board and don't feel the need to prop up our players vote count.

Geez, you Demons desperately want Sylvia to be judged better than someone. Smacks of patheticness.

Sylvia has been great, and if he keeps it up, will be judged better.
I still lent toward Wells on an overall career basis, but time will tell a different story maybe.

The bias needs to be taken out of these types of votes. Supporters of the teams involved should abstain or be barred from voting.
